[origin: EP2503046A1] The present invention relates to a method for washing laundry (30) in a laundry washing machine (1; 200) comprising a washing tub (3) external to a rotatable washing drum (4) suited to receive laundry (30). The method comprises a loading phase in which laundry (30) is loaded into the washing drum (4); a wetting phase in which the loaded laundry (30) is wetted; a detergent introducing phase in which a detergent (D) is introduced inside the washing tub (3). During the detergent introducing phase the washing drum (4) is rotated at a reference rotational speed (Sd) in which the loaded laundry (30) is stuck to the inner surface (4a) of the washing drum (4).
