Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011064079A2] The invention relates to a water conducting household appliance 1 having a first container 8 for the purpose of collecting water, wherein said water partially replaces the air present in the first container 8, a second container 10 for the purpose of storing water, in which said water partially replaces the air present in the second container 10 and a water line 9 connected to the first container 8 and the second container 10, via which the water can be conveyed from the first container 8 to the second container 10. According to the invention, the household appliance 1 has means 13, 14, 15 for generating a pressure difference between the air in the first container 8 and the air in the second container 10, wherein the water can be conveyed via the water line 9 from the first container 8 to the second container 10 as a result of the pressure difference. The invention also relates to a corresponding method for conveying water in such a household appliance 1.
