Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011060773A2] The invention relates to a device for vertically securing pipes having various diameters for elevator systems on oil drilling platforms, where a base element is arranged with a pivotable door element, wherein the closing movement for forming a cylinder liner can be carried out by a lockable actuating cylinder. The cylinder liner is formed by replaceable cylinder segments in order to form a cylinder liner having diameters of different sizes in the base element and door element. To this end, the cylinder segments are replaceably arranged by means of rear-sided guide profiles and associated profiled rails in the base element and door element. The upper sides of the individual cylinder segments are connected to corresponding receiving elements via horizontally slidable holding rings. By accommodating pipes in the cylinder liner and the occurrence of load, a spring-loaded actuating arm can be height-adjusted via a cylinder segment and a locking of the hydraulic actuating cylinder can be adjusted for the closing movement via an associated load sensor.
