[origin: EP2505096A1] The gemstone (1) has crown (2) with tapering facets that adjoin a flat table (5) all the way round inclined relative to the table. The pavilion facets (8,9) extend as far as a rondist (4) at which the gemstone has the largest transverse dimension. A pavilion (3) of facets preferably terminates at a point (6) adjoining below the rondist. The gemstone is partially made of glass and the crown angle is between 40.5[deg] and 42.5[deg] .
