[origin: EP2505760A2] The module (3) has a box (5) comprising an upper end (501) and a lower end (502). A guiding device (7) is provided for a sliding door and attached to the upper end of the box, where the guiding device forms a closure of the box. The box has an opening (503) for accommodating the sliding door. A free space (57) for holding the sliding door is formed between side walls (51, 53) of the box. The guiding device has a guiding rail (71) and a wall part (73) that is arranged around the guiding rail, where the side walls and a base wall (55) of the box and/or the wall part are made from wood component. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a sliding door device for a sliding door.
