Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2505837A1] The compressor has two pistons designed as a single-part piston and a multi-part piston (10) and comprising a piston head (12) made of aluminum and a piston base (14) made of stainless steel. The piston head and base are screwed with each other using screws (20) that extend through a bore hole in the piston head parallel to a longitudinal axis and/or a movement axis (X) of the multi-part piston. The pistons are driven by a common crank shaft. Diameter of the single-part piston is larger than diameter of the multi-part piston, where the pistons are arranged in a cylinder.
