Abstract (en)
The method involves continuously stacking LED function bands in a plastic extrusion apparatus to form an LED band from thermoplastic resin. The LED band is divided into LED strips (6) having predetermined length. Connecting adapters (7) are secured at two ends of the strips. The LED band is continuously manufactured by co-extrusion of a stabilizing base layer, a transparent core layer and a front layer i.e. convex or concave curved layer. Each function band is completely embedded into the core layer in a region of LEDs and partially embedded into the base layer in a region of a carrier tape.

Es handelt sich um ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Beleuchtungskörpers (1) auf LED-Basis, insbesondere als Leuchtmittel-Ersatz für eine Leuchtstofflampe. Dabei wird ein mit mehreren Leuchtdioden bestücktes LED-Funktionsband (3) in einer Extrusionsvorrichtung kontinuierlich unter Bildung eines LED-Bandes in zumindest einem thermoplastischen Kunststoff eingebettet. Das LED-Band wird anschließend in mehrere LED-Streifen vorgegebener Länge aufgeteilt und dann werden an einem oder an beiden Enden eines LED-Streifens ein oder mehrere Anschlussadapter (7) befestigt.
