Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2506601A1] The hearing aid (1) has a hearing aid housing (2) provided with a glass fiber-reinforced housing surface (7) on which a shark-skin structure is formed. The shark-skin structure comprises flakes i.e. hearing aid hooks (5), that are coated with paint and exhibit length in a range between 0.1 micrometer and 0.1 mm. The flakes exhibit height smaller than the length, and comprise channel-shaped recesses and rib-shaped projections that are arranged parallel to each other for defining a longitudinal axis. The shark skin structure is made from biocompatible material.
