Abstract (en)

The device has a plastic mounting frame e.g. foil, and tubular cast housing (1) surrounding an inner space, in which a ceramic heating element is arranged. The inner space is limited by an upper wall (1a) and a lower wall (1b) of the housing. The walls are connected by side walls (1c). The heating element with a contact side is turned toward the upper wall. The heating element with another contact side is turned toward the lower wall. The side walls are plastically deformed by pressing the housing. The deformation of the side walls increases along longitudinal direction of the side walls. The heating element is designed as a positive temperature coefficient heating element.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Heizeinrichtung mit wenigstens einem Heizelement (2), das zwei gegenüberliegende Kontaktseiten aufweist, an denen es elektrisch kontaktiert ist, einem Kontaktblech (4), das an einer der beiden Kontaktseiten des Heizelements (2) anliegt, einem Gussgehäuse (1) aus Metall, das einen Innenraum umgibt, in dem das Heizelement (2) angeordnet ist, wobei der Innenraum von einer oberen Wand (1a) und einer unteren Wand (1 b) begrenzt ist, und die obere Wand (1a) und die untere Wand (1b) über zwei gegenüberliegende Seitenwände (1c) miteinander verbunden sind, wobei das Heizelement (2) mit einer seiner beiden Kontaktseiten der oberen Wand (1a) und mit seiner anderen Kontaktseite der unteren Wand (1b) zugewandt ist, und wobei die Seitenwände (1c) durch Verpressen des Gehäuses (1) plastisch verformt sind. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass die plastische Verformung der beiden gegenüberliegenden Seitenwände (1 c) in Längsrichtung der Seitenwände (1 c) zunimmt.
