[origin: EP2506661A1] The device has a plastic mounting frame e.g. foil, and tubular cast housing (1) surrounding an inner space, in which a ceramic heating element is arranged. The inner space is limited by an upper wall (1a) and a lower wall (1b) of the housing. The walls are connected by side walls (1c). The heating element with a contact side is turned toward the upper wall. The heating element with another contact side is turned toward the lower wall. The side walls are plastically deformed by pressing the housing. The deformation of the side walls increases along longitudinal direction of the side walls. The heating element is designed as a positive temperature coefficient heating element.
