Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011066921A1] The invention relates to a machine (1) for filling and crimping tubular vials (11), including a horizontally mobile conveyor (7) for moving the filled and crimped vials (11) and discharging same towards an outlet station (17), the carousel (7) including vertical through-holes defining cavities for the vials (11), wherein the machine (1) includes a ramp provided under the carousel (7) on which the lower ends of the vials (11) bear. The ramp includes a horizontal portion (13) followed by an inclined portion (14) for the partial descent of the vials (11) before discharging the latter towards the outlet station (17), and the machine (1) further includes a curved rail (16) having a vertical end connected to the lower end of the inclined portion (14) and another end leading horizontally into the outlet station (17). The invention can be used for packaging wine in tubular vials.
