Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2508102A1] The chair has a seat (1) coupled with a seat mechanism (2) such that the seat is pivotally mounted in a front end region (1a) around a rotational axis, which is aligned parallel to a knee axis of a user. The front end region of the seat is rotatable supported at the seat mechanism around another rotational axis that is aligned vertical to the former rotational axis. The seat mechanism allows a lateral pivoting movement of the seat. The seat and the seat mechanism are arranged such that a side of the seat with the lateral pivoting movement is independently moved from another side of the seat.
