The clothing piece i.e. socks (1), has two first stitch rows between which a second stitch row is arranged, where the clothing piece is made of a knitted fabric. The first and second stitch rows respectively include hydrophobic threads plated on elastic core threads in a region of the knitted fabric, where the hydrophobic threads are enlaced as plush and partially made of a synthetic fiber material or a natural fiber material e.g. wool and/or cellulose- and viscose fibers. The knitted fabric is knitted on a knitting machine that has knitting systems for successively knitting the stitch rows.

Ein Bekleidungsstück, insbesondere Socke, bei dem in mit Plüschhenkel gearbeiteten Bereichen des Gestrickes erste Maschenreihen (11), die den Grundfaden (10) und einen auf diesen aufplattierten und als Plüsch verstrickten hydrophoben Faden (12) enthalten und zweite Maschenreihen (16) abgestrickt sind, die den Grundfaden (16) und einen auf diesen aufplattierten hydrophilen Faden (17) enthalten und die frei von Plüschhenkeln sind, wobei zwischen zwei ersten Maschenreihen (11) jeweils zumindest eine zweite Maschenreihe (16) angeordnet ist.
