Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2508828A1] The apparatus has a bold transfer device that transfers a metal bolt to a heating space of a tunnel furnace. The tunnel furnace comprises a convection oven (1) and flame-subjected oven (2). The metal bolt is preheated in the convection oven to a point just below deformation temperature and then is heated in a flame-subjected oven to a deformation temperature. An air ventilator (5) and a burner (4) are provided in the convection oven. An independent claim is included for method for heating metal bolt.
