Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2509054A2] The method involves detecting (405) a position of a person, and comparing (415) the position with the location data of the traffic route. The approaching or actual entry of the traffic route is captured (420) by the person corresponding to the comparison. The radio signal from the person is transmitted (430) to the motor vehicle. The warning signal is outputted (455) to the driver corresponding to the radio signal. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a warning transmitter for warning a driver of a motor vehicle on a traffic route, and (2) a warning receiver for warning a driver of a motor vehicle.
