[origin: WO2011069756A1] The invention relates to a roll stand for producing a rolled strip having operating rollers which are supported on support rollers or intermediate rollers and support rollers, wherein the operating rollers and/or intermediate rollers and/or support rollers are arranged in the roll stand such that they are movable axially relative to each other and each roller of at least one roller pair formed from a supporting roller and an operating roller or from a supporting roller and an intermediate roller has a curved contour running over the entire effective barrel length, wherein the contour (5) of the supporting roller (2) is specified by a contour function (10) which is formed from overlapping a first contour function (7), which runs complimentarily to the adjacent operating roller (1) in an unmoved state, having a concave or convex overlapping function (8, 8') in relation to the supporting roller axis (9).
