[origin: WO2011070065A1] The invention relates to a sorting device (1, 101) that can be used in a conveyor with an inspection device and comprises a feeding device and a discharging device for feeding/discharging the products to/from a sorting device (4, 204) provided with a sorting element that can be pivoted downwards. The sorting device (4, 204) comprises at least one guide element, which is arranged at a distance from the sorting element, and another guide element, which is arranged at a distance in the vertical direction and guides from the top the transport direction of a product that is to be conveyed on the sorting element. According to the invention, the guide element is connected to the sorting element and can be pivoted with the same. Furthermore, a driving device can be provided, the width of which corresponding to a part of the width of the feeding device or discharging device or sorting device (4, 204).
