Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2511193A1] The package (1) has a flexible film (3) comprising closing seams (4) that delimit a closed external periphery (5) of a main surface (6) of the package, where a packaged article is placed within the main surface and completely surrounded by the package. A weakening line (7) is formed with slits (8) on the main surface, where the slits are separated from each other by material attachment bridges (9). The weakening line is curved to delimit a support surface (10) for a finger of a user. Radius of curvature of the weakening line is in a range of 15 to 25 mm. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an outer package.
