[origin: EP2511412A2] The washing machine (10) has a stationary outer drum (14) and an inner drum that is arranged in the outer drum and is driven by a drive rotating relative to the outer drum. A controller (80) of the inner drum passed-through a turbulence phase during a washing rotating phase, in which a rotational speed of the inner drum differs by more than 5 percent by a mean value of the rotational speed. The mean value is determined by averaging over the entire washing rotating phase. An independent claim is included for a method for washing laundry with a washing machine.
