[origin: CA2810733A1] The invention relates to a hammer, in particular for comminuting devices, comprising a rotor and/or at least one shaft on which the hammer (1) can be fixed. Said hammer consists of a base body (2) provided with a through hole (B) which is provided to join the hammer (1) to the rotor and/or the shaft, and a cutting attachment (3) which can be detachably/rigidly connected to said base body (2) by at least one positive fit connection (V) and can be detachably/rigidly connected by at least one connection means (4) which exerts a force (P) which connects the cutting attachment (3) to the base body (2) by means of a positive fit connection. The invention is characterised in that a force (P1) resulting from the force (P) guides the cutting attachment (3) into the base body (2) at an inclined angle (a) in relation to an axis (Y) of the hammer (1) and an axis of symmetry (A) by means of the connecting means (3) which is essentially parallel to the axis (Y).
