[origin: WO2011082892A1] The invention relates to a hand tool. The hand tool comprises a percussion mechanism (1, 10, 20) and a tool holder (14) operatively connected to the percussion mechanism. The tool holder is preferably designed for separably receiving a tool (11, 12, 13), for example, a chisel. The hand tool comprises a counter-vibration mechanism (39), wherein the counter-vibration mechanism is designed to compensate at least partially for a force generated by the percussion mechanism along a percussion axis (30), in particular as a result of a reciprocating motion. The hand tool comprises at least one eddy current generator (22, 24, 26, 28, 29) and an eddy current receiver (35) mounted so as to be movable along an axis of translation and connected to the counter-vibration mechanism or formed by the counter-vibration mechanism. The eddy current generator is designed to generate a magnetic pulse (77) such that an eddy current can be generated in the eddy current receiver, and according to the eddy current the eddy current receiver can generate a counter-magnetic pulse (78) directed opposite to the magnetic pulse, and thus can be repelled by the eddy current generator and can generate a counter-movement along the axis of translation at least partially compensating for the force.
