[origin: WO2011080435A1] To compensate a lost value for torque produced by an internal combustion engine (1) for drawing a vehicle, the method is characterized in that a compensation torque value is determined by modulating said lost value by means of a compensation rate according to a function of a set including at least one vehicle status variable.
