[origin: WO2011082976A1] The invention relates to a method for purifying compounds (I) comprising amino groups, made of a polar phase A, wherein (I) is transformed into the corresponding imine (III) by reacting with an aldehyde or ketone (II), said imine being insoluble or slightly soluble in the polar phase A, and the imine (III) is subsequently transformed into a nonpolar phase B and separated from the phase A, and the compound comprising amino groups is subsequently reclaimed from the imine (III).
