[origin: EP2514664A1] The ship e.g. passenger liner (1), has a main structure (2) bounded by a hull (20) and an upper deck (21) above which a superstructure (3) is raised. An arch (4) is extended partly above the main structure, where opposite ends (41) of the arch are firmly joined to the main structure such that the arch carries a part of loads related to deformation. The arch is arranged vertically and parallel to a longitudinal axis (X-X') of the ship. The arch is made of material selected from metal, composite material, carbon fibers or combination of different materials.
