[origin: EP2515036A2] The boiler has a heating medium guiding a tank body (1), a filling chamber (2) for fuel with an upper or lateral filling opening (3) and a combustion grate (4) with an ash box (5) arranged below the combustion grate. The combustion gases or the secondary air enters in a swirl chamber (7) in the vicinity of the front side in the radial direction from outside. The swirl chamber has a cross-section in the area of the mouth for the combustion gases on the opposite side of the front side.
