Abstract (en)
The method involves supplying a fluid state refrigerant e.g. liquid nitrogen, to a vertically arranged heat exchanger (6) i.e. tube heat exchanger, and vaporizing the refrigerant in the heat exchanger. A fluid medium is fed with the condensed refrigerant through the heat exchanger by direct current. Temperature of the fluid medium is controlled by varying pressure of the condensed refrigerant in the heat exchanger, to a value among vacuum pressure and 1-10 bars. Heat transfer to the refrigerant is controlled by varying a filling level of the condensed refrigerant in the heat exchanger. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling temperature of a fluid medium.

Ein Verfahren zum Regeln der Temperatur eines fluiden Mediums mittels eines kondensierten Kältemittels, bei dem das fluides Medium in einem aufrecht stehenden Wärmetauscher (6) mit dem kondensierten Kältemittel in Wärmekontakt gebracht und dabei gekühlt wird, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das fluide Medium im Gleichstrom durch den Wärmetauscher (6) geführt wird und die Regelung der Temperatur des fluiden Mediums durch Variation des Drucks des kondensierten Kältemittels im Wärmetauscher (6) erfolgt. Dadurch ist eine sehr genaue Einstellung der Temperatur des zu kühlenden Mediums möglich.
