Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2515064A1] A heat exchanger comprises a set of coolant channels positioned immediately adjacent a bulkhead connecting a plurality of cooling plates. The coolant channels have a relatively larger cross sectional area in a direction of coolant flow compared to other coolant channels in the main body of the heat exchanger. Additionally, the gas conduits have plain regions adjacent the bulkhead to reduce gas turbulence in the bulkhead region.
