[origin: EP2515556A2] The hearing device (1') has a housing, in which an earpiece and a battery are arranged. The housing has two housing parts (111,112). The housing parts are connected to one another by a connection (19). One of the housing parts or an attenuation element provided in the connection between the housing parts is formed of an elastic material. The hearing device is provided with a hook (15), particularly latter housing part. The elastic material is provided as an elstomer material, particularly silicone rubber, thermoplastic elastomers or Viton(RTM: Fluoroelastomer).
