Abstract (en)
A lighting device includes: a power supply unit for supplying a power to a light emitting element; and a dimming control unit for controlling the power supply unit in according to a control signal inputted from outside to dimming-control the light emitting element at a desired dimming ratio. The dimming control unit controls the power supply unit so that supply of the power from the power supply unit to the light emitting element is stopped when no control signal is inputted.
