[origin: WO2011076949A1] The present invention provides a liquid fuel composition comprising: - a base fuel suitable for use in an internal combustion engine wherein the base fuel comprises oxygenated hydrocarbons; and - one or more polyetheramines having formula (I): wherein R is an -NR1 2 group where R1 is independently selected from hydrogen and a C1-C6 hydrocarbyl group, n is in the range of from 6 to 37, m is in the range of from 12 to 74 and p is 0 or 1. The liquid fuel composition provides improved engine cleanliness, improved lubricity and improved fuel economy benefits.
