Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011080026A2] The invention relates to a steaming station (10) for treating a material to be steamed, which has a steam generator (20) for generating an output of steam and a temperature setting means (30) for setting a treatment temperature, wherein the steam output rate of the steam output can be determined by the temperature setting of the temperature setting means (30). The present invention makes it possible, by using simple constructional and cost-effective means, to provide a steaming station by means of which simple treatment of a material to be steamed, for example an item of clothing, can be made possible. In particular, handling that is more acceptable to the user can be made possible by means of the steaming station, since the steam output rate does not have to be set by the user in order to treat a material to be steamed. Effective operation of the steaming station can also be enabled by means of the invention, since the steaming station is able to quickly achieve a desired operating state.
