Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2011077015A2] The invention relates to an arrangement and a method in connection with an impingement dryer (10, 20, 30) of a fiber web (50). According to the invention in the method: - the fiber web (50) is guided into the impingement dryer (10, 20, 30) via its first end (11, 21, 31 ), - the fiber web is guided inside the impingement dryer past blowing means (104) and exhaust means (105), and - the fiber web is guided out via a second end (12, 22, 32) of the impingement dryer, - during a web break or tail threading, the fiber web is guided into a desired direction by means of a guiding form (304, 317) arranged in the first end (11, 21, 31) or the second end (12, 22, 32) of the impingement dryer, on the outer surface (303) of the impingement dryer, and having, in the machine cross direction, at least the width of mainly the entire dryer.
