Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2518003A1] The truck i.e. reach truck (10), has a control unit for determining permissible lifting height for selected load centers based on detected load. A lifting height sensor is provided for a load support e.g. tooth adjustment device (12), and sets the detected lifting height at the control unit. The control unit generates an optical and/or acoustic alarm signal when the detected lifting height falls below predetermined minimum distance to the permissible lifting height. The alarm signal is changed based on increasing change of the lifting height to the permissible lifting height.
