[origin: EP2518176A2] Provided is a martensitic stainless steel for an injection-molding mold having outstanding machinability and corrosion resistance, which contains, as percentages by weight, 0.03 to 0.12% carbon, 0.02 to 0.08% nitrogen, 0.3 to 0.7% silicon, 0.6 to 2% manganese, 0.001 to 0.03% phosphorus, 0.1 to 0.3% sulfur, 11.5 to 15% chromium, 0.05 to 1% copper, 0.6 to 3% nickel and 0.0005 to 0.003% calcium, and iron and other unavoidable impurities as remnants.
