[origin: WO2011080470A1] The invention relates to an organic photovoltaic cell which includes a substrate, a first electrode formed on the substrate, an organic photoactive medium including one electron donor material and one electron acceptor material, and a second electrode including a conductive grid, the first electrode being located between the substrate and the second electrode. The cell includes an insulating grid formed on the first electrode. The conductive grid is formed on the insulating grid. The insulating grid and the conductive grid jointly define openings for receiving the photoactive medium, which are suitable for receiving the photoactive medium after depositing the first electrode, the insulating grid and the conductive grid on the substrate.
