Abstract (en)
The method involves combining multiple printing sheets (10) to a book block (3-1 to 3-n) and compressing multiple book blocks with same orientation on the lower edges (7) of the printing sheet to a rod (13). A book block is offset parallel to the lower edges of the printing sheets and transverse to a height of the rod such that a side edge (17-1 to 17-n) of the book block protrudes opposite to a side edge of an adjacent book block. An independent claim is included for a rod with an information carrier.

Bei einem Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Stange (13), bei dem mehrere Druckbogen (10) zu einem Buchblock (3 1...n ) zusammengefasst und mehrere Buchblocks (3 1...n ) mit gleicher Orientierung jeweils auf Unterkanten (7) der Druckbogen (10) stehend zu einer Stange (13) zusammengeführt und abgepresst werden, wobei jeweils zwei benachbarte Buchblocks (3 1...n ) vor dem Abpressen gegeneinander versetzt und nach dem Abpressen in ihrer Position fixiert werden, wird ein Buchblock (3 1 ... n ) parallel zu den Unterkanten (7) der Druckbogen (10) und quer zu einer Höhe (H) der zu bildenden Stange (13) derart versetzt, dass eine Seitenkante (17 1...n ) des Buchblocks (3 1...n ) gegenüber einer Seitenkante (17 1...n ) eines benachbarten Buchblocks (3 1...n ) hervorsteht.
