Abstract (en)
The method involves realizing a winding of a non-vulcanized elastomer sheet (5) onto a metallic core (2) of a roller (1). A complementary winding is realized by winding another non-vulcanized elastomer sheet (6) toward each of axial end portions (9) of an elastomer coating (3) along an axis of symmetry (4) of the roller, before vulcanizing the roller. The latter sheet is wound to complete the elastomer coating obtained after the winding or the complementary winding, where the sheets are made from materials such that hardnesses of the sheets obtained after the vulcanization are different. An independent claim is also included for a roller for a sealed head of a textile thread processing machine.

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de fabrication de rouleau composé d'un noyau métallique recouvert d'un revêtement élastomère et présentant un axe de symétrie, ce procédé comprenant un premier enroulement (101) d'une première feuille d'élastomère non vulcanisé sur le noyau, une vulcanisation (108). Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend au moins une étape consistant à réaliser un enroulement complémentaire (102), succédant au premier enroulement (101) et précédant la vulcanisation (108), revenant à enrouler au moins une deuxième feuille d'élastomère non vulcanisé, la première feuille et la au moins une deuxième feuille étant telles que les duretés obtenues après vulcanisation (108) sont différentes. L'invention a aussi pour objet le rouleau élastomère monolithique à dureté hétérogène obtenu par ce procédé. Application à la réalisation de rouleaux pour tête d'étanchéité de machine de traitement de fil textile.
