Abstract (en)
The manhole cover (10) has a manhole cover portion (20) whose cross-sectional shape is matched with the cross sectional shape of the manhole opening. A bearing section (22) is provided for storage of the manhole cover portion into the manhole opening. A damping element is frictionally connected to the manhole cover portion while spacing from the bearing section, for damping the amount of vibrations generated from the manhole cover portion. The damping element is arranged partially within the manhole cover portion.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schachtabdeckung (10) zur Abdeckung einer Schachtöffnung, aufweisend einen Schachtabdeckungskörper (20), dessen geometrische Querschnittsform im Wesentlichen dem Öffnungsquerschnitt der Schachtöffnung entspricht und der zumindest einen Auflageabschnitt (22) für die Lagerung der Schachtabdeckung (10) in der Schachtöffnung bei deren Abdeckung aufweist.
