[origin: EP2520754A2] The driving device (1) has an electric motor (2) and an adjacent gearbox (3) that is designed as a manual gear drive with two gear transmission ratios. The driving device is formed as an electrical belt winder (4) for a belt (5) or as a tension element of a shading device. The housing (7) of the belt winder is provided with an actuator (37) for the shifting of the gearbox. The actuating device is provided as a pivotable or movable lever (38). A sliding sleeve is moved with the gear wheels in the axial direction.
