Abstract (en)
The coolant circuit (1) has a heat accumulator (12) by which the cold coolant is heated. The heat accumulator with the coolant is operated as a storage medium and is designed such that the storage temperature of the charged heat accumulator lies above the operating temperature of the coolant circuit. The heat accumulator is bypassed a bypass line and is provided with an electric heater (14). The coolant is water or glycol mixture.

Offenbart ist ein Kühlmittelkreislauf eines Antriebs, beispielsweise eines Verbrennungsmotors, eines Hybridantriebs oder eines Elektroantriebs, bei dem Kühlmittel über einen Wärmespeicher auf Betriebstemperatur gebracht werden kann. Erfindungsgemäß wird als Speichermedium des Wärmespeichers Kühlmittel verwendet, wobei dieses auf eine Speichertemperatur erwärmt wird, die deutlich oberhalb der Betriebstemperatur des Kühlmittelkreislaufs liegt.
