[origin: WO2011082830A1] The invention relates to a floor cleaning device (10) having a cleaning head (12), on which a cleaning tool (16) is rotatably mounted around a rotation axis (14), a handle (20), which is held in a pivoting manner on the cleaning head (12) around a pivot axis (18), a first container (36) for cleaning fluid (37) which can be applied to a floor surface to be cleaned, a second container (38) for dirty fluid (39) which can be taken up from the floor surface to be cleaned, a suction assembly (54) and an electrical motor (52). In order to further design such a floor cleaning device so that it has increased operating comfort, according to the invention the floor cleaning device (10) comprises at least one rechargeable battery (56) for providing electrical energy for the electrical motor (52) and at least one holding part (46) for holding the at least one rechargeable battery (56) on the floor cleaning device (10).
