Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2011082714A1] The invention relates to methods and devices for the fully automatic production of boxes from paper or cardboard. A paper strip is applied to the lateral surface (11) of a cylindrical female mould (10) by means of a peripheral male mould, the area of said female mould corresponding to the form of the box to be produced. Vacuum nozzles (12) in the lateral surface (11) fix the paper strip by means of a vacuum. A bottom or lid is stuck to the paper strip shaped in this way in relation to the box wall, by means of an adhesive. When the vacuum is switched off, the produced box can be removed from the female mould (10).
