Abstract (en)
The key has a shaft (2) with broad sides (3, 4) and narrow sides (5, 6), which connect the broad sides together. Spherical caps (11) are arranged in the broad sides of the shaft to actuate bolts of a lock cylinder. Profile grooves (7-10) match with corresponding profile bars of the lock cylinder. Two profile grooves (9, 10) are arranged in the narrow sides of the shaft. The caps and the profile grooves are grouped around a middle axis of the shaft, so that the profile grooves partially undercut cross-section of the caps.
