Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2522940A2] The device i.e. household cooling device (1), has an inner container (2) arranged in a body (7) and forming a storage area (3) for cooling goods. Door leaves (4a, 4b) are pivotably attached to the body around a vertical axis (A) and supported by a self-locking hinge arrangement (8) to open and close the area. A cam mechanism has a slider supported in a door end strip whose front end is connected with the door leaf. The mechanism has a hinge pin connected with the body. The pin has a radial contact surface, where a projection of the slider runs along the surface for generating closing force. The door end strip is designed as a plastic injection molding part or as aluminum casting part.
