Abstract (en)
The housing (1) has a front housing part (2), and a rear housing part (3) comprising a cartridge belt guide with a foldable cover (5), where the cover is arranged on the rear housing part in a usage condition of a machine gun. A target lens is arranged at the rear housing part in an area of the foldable cover for swing opening of the cover from a pivot area of the cover. The lens has a holder (10) that comprises a bearing bracket (11) attached to the rear housing part, where the bracket is connected with a retainer (20) for the lens through a joint guide block (12).

Gehäuse (1) eines Maschinengewehrs mit einem Hinterschaft, wobei das Gehäuse (1) ein vorderes Gehäuseteil (2) sowie ein hinteres Gehäuseteil (3) aufweist, wobei das hintere Gehäuseteil eine Patronengurtführung mit einem aufklappbaren Deckel (5) umfasst, wobei der Deckel (5) im Gebrauchszustand des Gewehrs oben auf dem hinteren Gehäuseteil (3) angeordnet ist, wobei an dem hinteren Gehäuseteil (3) im Bereich des aufklappbaren Deckels (5) eine Zieloptik (30) anbringbar ist, wobei die Zieloptik (30) zum Aufklappen des Gehäusedeckels (5) aus dem Schwenkbereich des Deckels (5) bringbar ist.
