[origin: WO2011083322A1] A pour spout fitment holder device (12) includes a base arrangement (16) and a fitment holder (14) having a cavity and a forwardly extending lip (31) integrally formed with a cap engagement portion (32) configured to deflect partly a profiled surface (10) of a wall of a container (8) and urge a pour spout fitment (2) against the profiled surface (10), which encircles a dispensing opening (9). The lip is contoured to promote substantially continuous peripheral engagement of a flange (4) of the fitment (2) with the profiled (surface 10) during sealing of the fitment (2) to the container (8).
