[origin: GB2476966A] A gland suitable for mounting in a raised floor structure comprising a frame structure 1 having a first end member 2a, a second end member 2b and two side members 3 and a sealing member 13 having flexible sealing means 14. The sealing means may comprise a pair of brushes, flexible foam elements or rubber elements. The sealing means are preferably removable from the sealing member and the frame structure may comprise slots 4 for receiving and supporting the free ends of the sealing means. The floor gland may comprise a separation means for separating cables which may comprise a U shaped slotted flange 9 along the edge of the side member. In use, the floor gland provides a covered access hole provided in a raised floor structure to allow cabling to pass through the floor structure and effectively sealing the access hole to prevent the passage of cooling air.
