[origin: EP2524742A2] The clocked press plant (1) comprises multiple work stations, which are linked with each other by a workpiece transport system. A section (2,3) of the press plant is configured as rotary section, which is operated in a revolving manner, and a transport spin (6,7) swiveling around a vertical spinning axis (4,5). The transport spin has multiple spinning arms (8,9) projecting the spinning axis and has a workpiece gripper (10,11). The workpiece transport between the work compartments of the work stations is influenced in a transport cycle by the spinning arms. An independent claim is included for a method for operating a clocked press plant.
