Abstract (en)
The flat workpiece cutting apparatus (1) has a cutting wheel and a breaking punch applied on a handle (19) in the direction of respective working position. The breaking punch is applied in opposite directions of rotation of the handle. A feed direction of a working carriage (17) corresponds to a working position during cutting by adjustment of the cutting wheel. A rotational torque is realized by a feed force exerted in the feed direction on the handle.

Eine Vorrichtung (1) zum Schneiden flächiger Werkstücke (4), insbesondere Fliesen (5), weist einen Grundkörper (2) mit einer Auflagezone (3) für das Werkstück (4) auf, das von einer längs des Grundkörpers (2) verlaufenden und auf das Werkstück (4) aufzulegenden Führungsschiene (8) übergriffen ist, längs derer ein Arbeitswerkzeuge (18) tragender Arbeitsschlitten (17) verfahrbar ist, an dem ein Griffteil (10) in Längsrichtung der Führungsschiene (8) verschwenkbar angeordnet ist, über das ein eines der Arbeitswerkzeuge (18) bildendes Schneidrad (73) verstellbar ist, über das das Drehmoment gegen das Werkstück (4) abgestützt wird, das sich aus der Verstellkraft ergibt, die als Vorschubkraft für den Arbeitsschlitten (17) auf das Griffteil (10) ausgeübt wird.
