[origin: EP2525094A1] The pump (1) has a conveying chamber filled with fluid material (2) in a working stage of the pump and drained in another working stage of the pump. Size of the conveying chamber is changed during the pump operation such that different volumes of the material are conveyed during different operating cycles of a conveying process and/or the conveying chamber has an additional chamber (10) with an additional area (12). Volume of the additional area is changed during the pump operation independent of volume of a pump chamber of the conveying chamber. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system comprising two pumps connected with one another (2) a method for controlling conveying speed of a pump.
